rounding numbers

this is my rounding today in maths

Rounding whole numbers for numbers  10s 100s 1,000s 


0 1 2 3 4 you round down 
5 6 7 8 9 you round up 
Rounding 
So if u have 52 and 50 and 60 so
50    52                         60
What's closed to 52 50 or 60 its 50 becauseits 50  2 down and 8 up thats rounding 
And u have a bigger number like 
34,723 u can get that a bigger number

    Hi Blake well done your post was very clear and easy to understand. Your examples of rounding to the nearest ten were also excellent. It looks like you ran out of time to show rounding to the nearest 100.
    Do you know which place number to look at if you are rounding to the nearest thousand?
