AMP show

 Last Friday there was the amp show.  there was a fire maze pull pauls truck smack the nails in the wood race pony rides bikes face paint bouncy castle look at peoples creations and then people were finding pauls truck very easy and so the did a fire truck it was 15 tons and it took 15 people to pull it .and the skate people were here there was karaoke and then pony races that u  built from year 4 to 8 and the year 6 race was one of the best. all me and friends did was wonder around looking at different things and broke up a fight between 3 little kids. 

Reflection 2020

 Term 1

Started as Year 8.

Went to camp at Spencer Park.

Lock down started.

Worked online.

Made new friends

Term 2

Lock down finished on 27 April

Lot of things got cancelled

Started basketball

Don't remember much, just a blur.

Started William Pike Challenge 

Term 3

Did cross country and went to zones 

Finished basketball  

Sailing 

Term 4

I went to go to zones for athletics and didn't go because of head injury

Went to Jellie Park

maths blog

 today in math i did multiplication and division i got 86 out of multiplication with the time of 4:37

and in division and got 29 and my time was 4:47 it was not my time to get my goal now is to get 2 minutes and bet Sharon and get 100 out of 100.  

one year of inquiry

 

the past year of inquiry is good ive learnt new skills for my teacher MR Redmond on native birds and planting in the garden the first day we had to do slide shows of native birds and research about it and at the end of the last day it was ruff and hard but i went along with it and got the task done and it was a success day one of planting we went to the garden and ma our pots for the garden and then we had to empty a greenhouse fill of very old soil for the pots we did that and then put markings on our pots and then choose our seeds for the pot and then put soil in them and then watered them and went back everyday and watered them.   

3d shape definitions

Yesterday i did the 3d shape definitions and it was really fun to do 

Maths

Multiplication 

In my multiplication I got 86% correct 

I need to learn 7x8

My goal is to get 7x9 right 

Division 

In my division I got 41% correct 

I need to learn to get 84 divided by 12, then my goal is to get  84 divided by 18.

 

Athletics

 yesterday we did athletics 1st up i did middle distance we had to do one lap around the bike track and i got 4th and im going to zones for that next we did discus and i came 9th we had to throw at least 15 for the year 7&8 and i only throw 11.6 

then we did shot put my score was 5.56 then we went to high jump i couldn't get any of the jumps but boy got to zones for high jump then last we had long jump my first go i got 4.05 and i found out boy got the same as me and then my second go i got a no jump cause my foot went over the mat and then we went to sprints i got 2nd then at the end of the day there was the sprint finals and its top 2 i was waiting for my go because i was last and i got 3rd and im going to zones for sprints so all up im going to zones for 3 comps 

and then we had relays i wasn't in one but i was beating on one team to win and the team was gio arika miram tau and they won agiants Mr Redmond  Judith fire jazz Marcella and the teachers came 2nd 

and at everything i thought i was never going to get into anything for zones but i did and im very happy about how it will go but i might get beaten at sprints but i thing long distance i could win and long jump ive never made it in for so i can see what the skill based level is cause i can only jump 4.27  and i wished i got into discus cause i can throw far and maybe i could get into Canterbury
